My Story
Coming from a small town in eastern Wyoming, growing up in the land of wheat fields and coal mines, HallyAnn quickly fell in love with the mountain lifestyle after moving to Colorado for college where she studied art education. After a major life changing climbing accident in 2016, HallyAnn changed career paths and now works full time in Senior Living. When she’s not at work, you can find her making pottery and crocheting at home or traveling and hiking the thousands of gorgeous trails around the world.

After nearly becoming paralyzed in 2016 after a severe rock climbing accident where I broke my back and both my feet, I am so thankful that I am able to continue living the adventurous lifestyle I’ve always wanted to have. I loved traveling before my accident, but didn’t truly appreciate it until I wasn’t able to anymore. I also didn’t truly appreciate being able to sit at my pottery wheel and throw a pot whenever I wanted. Luckily, I never had to give up my love for crocheting as I could do that even from my wheelchair! After 5 surgeries and years of physical therapy, I am finally able to live my life fairly normal (what is normal anyway?) and spend as much time in the great outdoors as possible. The work I create is inspired by the beauty I see when I’m hiking and traveling and my hope is that when you purchase one of my items, it brings joy into your life and a little piece of nature into your home. - HallyAnn
